We had an extra special preschool class this month. Since Tyler's birthday is over the break, we decided to do a combination preschool class/birthday party.
The kids put on their birthday hats and got to work.

The first thing they worked on was constructing squares out of these thick velcro popsicle sticks.
I was so proud of them for successfully completing this task.

Aww... they're so proud of themselves.
Then we glued pieces of colored foam on the square frame and taped a picture of each kid
in the middle. Foam stickers are always a big hit with these kids.

And finally, it was time to party! Tyler insisted on having a pajama party. All of his friends forgot to wear their pajamas, but Tyler was glad they didn't forget presents. We watched a YouTube video of "Jingle Bells." They also played hide-n-seek, find the missing Santa hat, and a couple rounds of "Hot Hat" (just like the Hot Potato game). I'm glad that four year olds are easy to entertain.
