We Meet Again!
One of my last roommates I had before I got married was Ivy. Ivy was so fun and was so good to me. She helped me alot with my wedding preparations. I remember Ivy drove me all over town (I didn't have a car) and she burned me a music CD for my wedding reception. Ivy and the rest of my roommates even threw me a bridal shower. I returned to Rexburg after I got married and lived down the street from her. There were a couple times that I stopped by for a quick visit. Four years ago was the last time I saw Ivy... on her graduation day at BYU-Idaho. We could only chat for a minute. Brian was two months old then. Well, this morning I got to see Ivy again! (For journaling purposes, I must note that my apartment was an absolute mess this morning. Talk about embarrassing! I was in the back getting ready for the day. My boys were out in the living room. I thought they were laughing at the TV show they were watching. Nope, I was wrong. They had taken off the couch cushions, dumped alot of Chex cereal on to the floor and couch, and stomped the cereal into the tiniest pieces. Not a minute later, I heard Ivy knock on the front door.) It was another quick visit (about 30 minutes) but I'm so glad that Ivy stopped by with her husband. Ivy and Michael were married in the Seattle Temple in December 2008. It was nice to meet Michael and to introduce my boys to them. I hope you two enjoy the rest of your trip! Come see us again!
