Aunt Amy came Saturday afternoon. We went for a hike in the mountains. Brian had fun running a little bit on the gravel trail with Aunt Amy.

Grandma Hallstrom invited us all over for a dinner... yummy pot roast and potatoes. It was very nice of her to invite us and we enjoyed our visit. We all went to church on Sunday. This is our fifth Sunday in our new ward. Brian is finally getting use to his new Primary class. It's been a rough transition for him. Tyler has been having a hard time too, but I don't blame him. Church is from 11AM-2PM (right during his nap time). We still stay for the whole 3 hours of church, even though Tyler screams through the last two hours. I made a nice lasagna dinner for us. Sam's younger sisters, Laura and Rosanne, arrived about 8:30PM. Sam made us fruit smoothies to slurp up.

Today, Amy and I prepared a nice picnic lunch for everyone...sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, watermelon and brownies. We went to a nearby park to eat. After our meal, we walked over to the playground and to a nearby pond. Brian loved throwing rocks into the water.

My favorite part of our adventure today was going to a small zoo and seeing this beautiful peacock:

We also saw this bald eagle:

We had a great holiday weekend and hope you did too.
