Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day (or "Green Day" as Brian called it). I surprised the boys with Lucky Charms cereal for breakfast. They loved it because to them, it was new cereal. I sure wish the cereal tasted better. After Brian got home from school, we ate mint chocolate chip ice cream out of green cups while wearing our green shirts. I've never really made a big deal out of this holiday before. Maybe I'll think of more fun things to do for next year.

The one day a year holidays are my favorite because you can go ALL out, and it doesn't last weeks and weeks and weeks (like Christmas). We've had to become creative with this one too, but every year we add something a little more festive to it.
I love the mint chocolate chip ice cream in green cups idea, and Lucky Charms for breakfast, very festive!!!
