Farmtastic Fall

This past Saturday, our family spent a couple hours at the Farmtastic Fall Celebration at the American West Heritage Center. There were tons of different activities we could do. My boys especially liked the Hay Jump. The Hay Jump was just a big pile of hay you could climb up on and then jump down into a huge heap of loose hay. To my surprise, Sam even got in on the fun. His black fleece coat was covered in straw. The next thing we did was go through a kids hay maze. The boys really enjoyed going through the tunnel.
Next up was the corn maze. It took awhile to get through the maze. We didn't see anyone else in the maze, which was a little strange. It was fun and it made me wish that my Grandpa Jerry (who's a farmer) would've created corn mazes for the grandkids when I was growing up.

We went on the super slide (sat on potato sacks to slide down), rode the train, pet the baby goats, and went on the swings. I thought the horse tire swing was very creative. We walked through the Haunted Hollow while we waited for the pony rides. Sam wanted his picture taken with the Juniper tree. My boys didn't want to ride the ponies. We sat on a couple old tractors, picked out some pumpkins, and went home for lunch.
