Try-it-Tuesday

September to me means back to school and that fall is just around the corner. This pumpkin bread is to die for! This pumpkin bread makes a great snack or dessert.

Pumpkin Bread
From: Laura Ward

3 1/3 c. flour
1 t. salt
3 c. sugar
2 t. baking soda
2 t. nutmeg (optional)* I don't put the nutmeg in
3 t. cinnamon
______________________
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. pumpkin
2/3 c. water
2/3 c. (or more) chocolate chips

Sift first part then add second part. Make a sort of well in the dry ingredients and pour in second part. Mix together until well blended. Pour into 3 well greased and floured loaf pans. Bake @ 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pans. This tastes great served either warm or chilled.
