Try-it-Tuesday

I've made this for several baby showers. Everyone loves these! Try it!

Ham Wraps
From: Rachel Potts

For ham dip, you’ll need:
1 can ham (Hormel brand – by tuna fish in stores)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 C. Miracle Whip
¼ C. diced onion

Microwave cream cheese for 30 seconds on high setting. Mash with fork. Add onion and Miracle Whip, mix. Drain ham, mash it up with a fork, and add into other mixture. Stir.

For the ham wraps, you’ll need:
Ham dip
5 (big and thin) tortillas
½ lb. Sliced ham (lunch meat-not thin deli sliced ham, but thicker)
½ lb. Provolone cheese
lettuce

Construct the ham wraps as follows:
Lay tortilla on a flat cutting surface. Spread a thin layer of ham dip on tortilla (almost to the edges of the tortilla. Put 2-3 slices of ham on top of the ham dip layer, making sure that every bite will have ham. Put slices of Provolone cheese on top of ham. Place lettuce un top of cheese. Carefully pick up one edge of the filled tortilla and roll tightly…jelly roll style. (The seam of the tortilla should be flat against the cutting surface). Now take a sharp knife and cut diagonally in the center of tortilla. Continue cutting in this manner, making each piece about 1 inch thick and using all 5 big and thin tortillas. Serve ham wraps on a chilled serving platter.
