Try-it-Tuesday

Betsy’s Meatloaf
From: Grandma Jean Van Wie

1 ½ lb. Ground beef
1/4 C. chopped onion
1 C. bread crumbs (I used crushed up croutons)
1 egg
1 C. tomato juice
1 tsp. salt & pepper
dash of garlic powder

Mix the above ingredients in a large bowl. Put in pan and mash down with a fork.

In a small bowl, mix:
½ C. ketchup
2 tsp. mustard
4 Tbs. brown sugar
Spread this mixture on top of meat.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours (or less if in a large pan).
