Packing was quite an ordeal. We tried to pack up as much as we could before Sam's parents arrived. Our dining room ended up being completely full of boxes, I'm talking up to the ceiling! We moved our dining room table and chairs right next to our front door. It's a good thing that we packed as quick as we did because Brian got sick and we were busy taking care of him. It was strange for me to have to say good-bye so quickly to all of my friends at my old apartment complex. We lived there for almost two years and we loved it there! I miss it so much already! Thank you to our friends, Dan, Steve, Lamar, and Moses for helping us pack up the Uhaul. You were all a big help!
Moving day was a long one. It took alot longer for us to get to our new place than we thought. Not because we didn't know how to get there, but because we have kids. They were so fussy and tired that day. I had to stop several times with them along our journey. We even made a stop for ice cream (something we NEVER do). Brian sure enjoyed it. After being in the car for three hours with fussy kids, I was wiped out. But we still had so much to do. Sam got our new apartment keys and showed us our new home for the first time. (Sam did a very good job picking this place out. I love it! We have a view of our playground, our church, the temple, and the mountains from our windows. It's nice. The apartment is less than two years old and is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom place. We are about 1 1/2 miles from Sam's work and just 4 blocks from several stores). Anyway, after our Subway dinner, Sam called up some of Kevin & Becky's relatives (that lived in town) and they helped us unload our truck. I took my boys to visit my second cousin, Angela. She was working hard cleaning windows in an art building. We had fun talking and catching up. When we came home a couple hours later, all of our stuff was inside our new place.
Sam's old job was getting extremely boring. There wasn't enough work for him to do. For the past 4 months or so, there were several days that Sam had absolutely nothing to do at work. He'd call me and tell me how bored he was. Poor guy! He had to get up at 5:30 a.m., be at work all suited up (in his bunny suit...white jump suit, gloves, safety goggles, etc.) by 6:30 a.m., and sit around for 12 hours doing practically nothing. Sam is loving his new job as an Electronic Repair Technician. There's alot of work for him to do. He works 8-5 Monday-Friday, like normal people, and doesn't have to wear a jump suit and all that other stuff. We are so excited to be here and can't wait to make some new friends!

3 bedrooms, fairly new, and a view of the temple? Your new place sounds great! Can I come live with you??? :)
Glad you've gotten settled in. We miss you! I'm glad we have blogging to keep track of each other.
Lisa! I wish I had known you were moving so I could come visit you before you left. Where did you move? We are getting ready to move ourselves. We are hoping to get a home in Lehi, it will be a much better commute for my husband and we will be closer to my parents. I am not at all excited about packing! This is the longest we have lived in one home and we have accumulated a lot of stuff! Sounds like an exciting move!
glad you got moved in okay. can't wait to see a tour of the place.
ps we will accept sam's first check. thank you! (;
YAY for you guys. I am so happy that you guys are having a fun time. We sure miss you and I am glad that you are all settled in and having a great time getting to know Logan.
Congrats on the move. It sounds like Sam will be a lot happier with his new job. Logan is a great place to live too. My sister goes to Utah state right now and loves it. Wow, what a fast move!
