I am A Child of God

The theme for Primary this year is I am A Child of God. There are several wards that meet in the same church building as us. Our Primary Presidency was in charge of decorating the big bulletin board in the Primary room. We decided that having a big drawing on the board would be nice along with having this year's theme, the monthly theme and corresponding scripture. (I will post a picture of the completed bulletin board once I return to church). Anyway, our Primary President is an elementary school teacher and had access to a projector. She projected the image on the wall and traced it for me. I volunteered to color the image. It sure was a bigger project than I thought it would be...especially when my only art supplies were crayons and colored pencils! I finished coloring it in the day before Tyler was born, hence the huge belly!

This is what the poster looks like on the bulletin board in the Primary room.

Wow! You are so talented! That looks awesome! By the way, your belly does not look huge--you look like you still have a few months to go! Hopefully I'll be that little.

That is WAY cool Lisa! That takes some serious talent. The shading, and all? Wow. Thanks for sharing :) I hope you can keep it once they change the bulletin board...or is it a permanent gift to the church?

I'm not sure if the poster is a permanent gift to the church or if I could keep it. I'd love to keep it, but what would I do with it?!

Congrats on the baby. He is darling. Great job on the bulletin board. Can I say, I am glad it was you guys and not us? I am afraid we would not have been near as creative!!! We miss you guys.

This is so nice. Thanks for doing that for the primary children. Ethan said he LOVES it. I sure hope you know that this will be so inviting to anyone who sees it.
