2015 Holiday Letter

Dear Family and Friends -

It's hard to believe that 2015 is almost over.  We've had a wonderful year of making memories as a family.

Here's a quick update on each member of our family:
SAM still enjoys working as an Electronic Engineer Technician for Juniper Systems.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing church basketball, reading and watching Netflix.
LISA can be found at home caring for Sam, the kids, and the house.  She enjoys having her own photography business.  Lisa also enjoys baking, creating art projects (with and without the kids), and going on dates with Sam.
BRIAN is 10 1/2 and is in the 5th grade.  He is a proud member of the Student Council and the Lego Robotics Team at school.  Brian loves baking, learning about the weather, and playing video games.  He thinks it is so cool to have his own room in the basement.
TYLER is almost 8 and is in the 2nd grade.  His first season of outdoor soccer was so fun.  He holds the school record for his grade level in the school's 1 mile Wildcat Run.  Tyler loves playing video games, playing sports in the backyard, and playing with friends.
KATIE is 5 1/2 and is in morning Kindergarten.  She loves Ninja Turtles, dressing up as Elsa, and making artwork.  She likes swinging really high on the swings and playing with other girls from her church class.
JULIA is 2 and is so fun.  She has the cutest laugh and gallops around the house when she's happy.  Julia also loves Ninja Turtles.  She knows all of her colors, some numbers, and recognizes and can name all of the Disney Princesses.

Highlights from 2015:
- Attended Sam's sister's wedding (Laura & Josh Bravo) in Salt Lake City, Utah
- Threw a big Princess Party at our home to celebrate Katie turning 5!  We had 15 pretty princesses to entertain.  Laura and Alice helped me prepare fancy cupcakes.  We played some fun games.  Katie just loves seeing all of her friends and getting spoiled.
- Flew the family out to Elmira, New York and spend quality time with Lisa's family.  We took the kids to Watkins Glen State Park, the Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra, and other nearby activities.  Sam and Lisa escaped to Hershey, PA for a couple of days.  We visited Lisa's sister, Amy, and went to Hersheypark.
- Hosted the 3rd Annual Don & Shirley Hallstrom Family Reunion at our home.  We enjoyed a mid afternoon meal in our backyard and spent quality time catching up.  We had 16 in attendance.

We are so blessed to have wonderful family and friends.  We appreciate all of the love and support you give.  At this time of year, we reflect on the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We know that He lives and loves us.  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  We wish you and yours all the best as you celebrate this holiday season.  Take care!

Love, The Ward Family - Sam, Lisa, Brian, Tyler, Katie, and Julia
