Our New Looks

Katie's before:  Long flowing hair that rarely looked put together.  

She always woke up with big snarls in her hair and cried every time I had to brush her hair.

I decided to relive her from her hair brushing woes and took her in for a haircut.
Once she was strapped in this pretty pink car and watching "Horton Hears a Who, " she was all set.
She had no idea what was about to happen.

And viola, the haircut is complete.

Katie's hair is much easier to handle now and getting her ready for preschool is a breeze!
I think Katie looks adorable with both lengths of hair.  I'm sure we'll grow her hair out again.

And as for me, I tend to get my haircut maybe twice a year.  

Here I am after growing my hair out for 7 months.  

And here's the after shot.  

I went to a professional salon for the first time ever in my life. 

I really liked how curly the Nicole made my hair.  

I splurged and bought the same products the lady used on my hair, 

but sadly, I can't seem to recreate this look.  

Maybe it's my blowdrying technique?!  Who knows.  

I'm not a fan of spending much time on fixing my hair anyway.
