I Am Enough

I love the blog, Little Miss Momma.   Ashley Stock, the author of the blog, keeps things real on her blog and I love the good heart that she has.  When I read her blog and other blogs written in a similar style, it makes me want to be a better person and live a happy life.  I tend to take things too seriously and let negative thoughts take over, which doesn't do me any good.  One of Ashley's posts, I Am Enough really made me think about what my "enough statement" would say.  The only way for me to find out is to sit down and type it out.  So here goes:

I AM ENOUGH.
I strive to make others feel loved, treasured, and truly listened to.
I am compassionate and kind.
I am generous with my time.
I am not afraid of hard work and know that I can do hard things.
I am a lifelong learner.  I am creative and talented.
I am a dreamer who knows that dreams can come true.
I am a wife and mother who takes those roles seriously.
I am a friend who is fun, keeps things real, and is ready to listen.
I am glad to be me.  And just being me is enough.

Wow.  That exercise really made me think.  I challenge you to write your own "I AM ENOUGH" statement.  And just so you know, YOU.ARE.ENOUGH.
