Words of Wisdom - Happy New Year Edition

How much luckier we are—
and how much more happiness we experience—
if we can fall in love with the life we’re living.
--Adair Lara

"You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one."

“I’d always believed that a life of quality, enjoyment, and wisdom were my human birthright and would be automatically bestowed upon me as time passed.  I never suspected that I would have to learn how to live - that there were specific disciplines and ways of seeing the world I had to master before I could awaken to a simple, happy, uncomplicated life.”
-Dan Millman

(The photos in this post were all taken in my kitchen with
my NEW 5Omm 1.8 lens that I got for Christmas!
Don't the photos all have an abstract feel to them?
And check out the bokeh in some of the shots!  I'm loving it!)
