Picture Overload - May 2011 Edition

May was a very busy month for our family. Durning most of the school year, Tyler, Katie, and I would have very lazy weekday mornings.  Tyler and I would enjoy early morning cartoons while Brian was at school and Katie was still sleeping.  (Well, Tyler would watch the shows and I was usually still half asleep.)  Morning cartoons were followed by a late leisurely breakfast.

Katie was miserable for the week leading up to her birthday.  She was teething (4 new teeth on top.)  She also got her first ear infection and poor girl had an allergic reaction to her medicine.  This is how is looked when she woke up one morning:

As the days progressed, she got more cranky and looked even more pitiful:

I'm glad she got over her ear infection by the time her first birthday rolled around.

For our FHE activity a couple weeks ago, we created this sign and hung it up in our garage.  Auntie Em came to visit us all the way from New York.  We had week full of activities. 

 

 The first night Auntie Em was in town, we attended Tyler's Joy School Graduation.  

Two days later, Auntie Em was priveledged to hold Katie, the Birthday Princess. 

   

 

Katie was scared of the candles.  Brian made her strawberry ice cream cake and had to blow out her candle.

Then on Saturday, Auntie Em came with us to Hogle Zoo where we met up with Aunt Amy & Uncle Nate.  The kids were so crazy that day.  I'm thankful that we had 5 adults to help take care of our 3 crazy kids.

 

We had another birthday to celebrate, Sam turned 31.
