came and went.
It was a great day. I spent most of my day with my little brother, Mark.
Here's how my 29th birthday went down:
Woke up. (Sam was already gone for work and got Brian on the school bus.)
Ate breakfast. Took Tyler to preschool. Went to Brian's new school and signed paperwork.
Woke up Mark and Katie. Picked up Tyler from preschool.
Fed everyone lunch including Grandma Hallstrom.
Drove Mark to Provo. Picked up a Papa Murphy's Chicken Bacon Stuffed pizza and brought it to Laura's apartment. Laura and I pick up Mark's suit at Mr. Mac's.
Return to Laura's apartment to eat pizza and homemade cupcakes.
Pack up car. Drove Mark to airport. Gave Mark a big hug and wished him well on his mission.
Drove home. Pulled up to my house and it was only 8:30pm. I was beyond exhausted.
Sam gave me presents! (Sam tried waking the kids up to sing "Happy Birthday" and to watch me open my presents, but they all just curled up in a little ball and snored. We got a good laugh out of that.) Sam surprised me with a 4GB memory card and a new fancy camera lens...
the Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 lens. Thanks again, babe!
With my birthday money, I spoiled myself with some fun new home decor.
Hooray for birthday money and coupons!
Speaking of babes, meet my newest, most favorite baby niece:
Kristen Elizabeth Ward
Born on 4/26/11 @ 6:53pm.

8 lbs 6 oz
20.25 inches long
red hair
Notice Kristen was born on MY birthday?!
Kristen is gonna get totally spoiled by her favorite Aunt Lisa.
I can't wait to meet her this July.

Yay! What a great birthday, you deserve it! I have the 70-200 f/4 and love it, having a zoom lens is a lot of fun. I can't wait to see some fancy new pictures!
oh happy b-day. I'm glad yo got to spend it w/ your brother, but sad that you didn't get to even hear your kiddos sing you a song :(
I love the decor you bought for your house- it's very cute, and hooray for camera stuff.

Yay for a new lens, I am just dying for the 50 mm lens, dying I tell you!
Love the new decorations, it sounds like a wonderful birthday. Even if you did spend most of driving here and there, I bet it was great spending time with your brother and sister.
