Joy School - December

I taught preschool at my house again.  This time, I had to teach the  letter I, the number 10, the color brown, and a circle.  I had the kids  count from 1 to 10 several times.  They used their fingers to  count...SO CUTE!  Then we went on an "I Spy Hunt" for Post-It notes  again.  That was a big hit the last time so we did it again.  The kids  played a bit and then we made Indian headbands complete with an orange  feather.  After our picnic-style snack time, the kids watched a kids  sing along, Ten Little Indians, on YouTube.  The kids LOVED it and we  watched it probably 5 or 6 times.  Here's my class of Indian children:

**We sure missed the twins that day.  I'm sure they would've loved our activities too.

Lisa I taught Joy School when Ryan and Nathan were little. Ryan and Nathan still have fun memories of the songs and activities. In fact Nathan sang part of the "Oh Boy I Got Joy" song while he was here over Christmas break. It's wonderful that you are creating great memories for your kids and others.

Love,
Aunt Janette
