1. Family Gatherings. On Sunday, we went to hear my cousin's son's talk in church. My cousin Jerry's son, Brennon, gave a wonderful talk in sacrament meeting. Brennon is now in the MTC learning the Hungarian language and more fully preparing for the time he'll serve as a missionary in Budapest, Hungary. After church, we went back to Jerry and Marla's beautiful home. We enjoyed appetizers, songs sung my second cousins' quartet (2 of Jerry's kids are in it), and a Thanksgiving feast. I brought some pumpkin bread to share. It was fun to see some of my mom's side of the family and catch up.
2. Music. I love how music can instantly change my mood. I love upbeat songs and how music turns my frown right upside down :)

I made the rats out of these meatballs: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2010/01/italian-meatball-soup/ with carrot ears & spaghetti whiskers. They were supposed to have peppercorn eyes, but they didn't stick. Yummy meatballs. Nasty looking rats
I love the new look. Are you still coming to Idaho for Thanksgiving considering the winter weather? I was just thinking about you.
