My friend, Karen posted this recipe. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm gonna try it soon. I bet my boys will love it.
PLAY DOUGH
4 tsp. cream of tarter
2 c. flour
1 c. salt
2 c. water
4 Tbsp. baby oil
food coloring
Mix all ingredients (except food coloring) in a large pot. Stir on medium heat constantly until dough comes away from the edges of pot and makes a soft ball. Let cool & knead. Divide into fourths (or however many colors you want) and add food coloring to each section. If it's stored in a Ziploc bag or airtight container, it stays good for a really long time!
