For many years, our old dining set was perfect for us. It seated 4 people but there was no way that we could fit the food on the table along with our plates, cups, etc. Now that we're a family of five and Katie is starting to join us at the table in her booster seat, we decided it was finally time for an upgrade.
Sam and I shopped online to get an idea what kind of dining room set we both liked. We stubled across this beautiful set. I crossed my fingers that one of the stores in town carried this set and that it would be in our price range. We lucked out and we love it. The table has a butterfly leaf in it and extends to seat 8 people. We bought 8 chairs to go with it. We'll put the leaf in and bring out the extra chairs when we have guests come over to eat.

It's GORGEOUS. I can't wait to have a nice dining set one day! We've had our $100 set from Walmart for almost six years now!! Ugh.
Yeah, our first dining set was $150and we had it for 7 1/2 years. We donated the chairs to D.I. and the table got demoted and is now in the toy room. It's now the craft/homework table.
I love it! Those are the kind of chairs I want someday.

Steph- We bought the dining set at 2 Brothers Furniture (a local business.) They had two stores in town and combined both stores into one location. We got an awesome deal because it was their Grand Opening Sale.
We have a similar set and I love it, yours looks really fancy and shiny! You might want to be careful with the top, ours scratches really easily so we started putting a tablecloth on it all of the time. How fun Lisa!

IVY- We've had a tablecloth on it since the moment we set it up. I just took the tablecloth off for the picture so you could see how pretty and shiny it is.
