A Little Black Dress

Now I'm not talkin' about MY little black dress (I don't have a little black dress) so read on.  My friend, Charee hosted our neighborhood's GNO (Girls Night Out)... a black and white tea party!  (We drank punch, not tea.)  Guests were asked to wear black and white with a splash of red.  I took the easy route and just wore my simple yet comfortable church dress.  I may have went overboard with the "splash of red," but I don't care.  I wore my sassy red lipstick, my nails polished red, and my crazy red scarf (made by my Grandma Jean.)  I wasn't planning on taking Katie with me to this event.  I considered Katie "my accessory" for the occasion.  She has a little black dress in her closet that she was begging to wear.
We had a fabulous time eating, playing games, and chatting.  Ladies, thanks for the memories!

(Thanks for letting me use these pictures, Charee!)

It was a total BLAST! Thank you so much for coming and really getting into it. I LOVED your splash of red. I wish that I wore more..and I really wanted brighter lipstick. LOVED YOURS! You are so cute to have dressed Katie up, just makes me smile thinking about it. You rocked it girl.
