Laura and I threw a bridal shower for Amy last Saturday. We had a great time. Can you tell we're sisters?!
Amy's friend, Sister Angell was great to let us use her home for the shower. We brought everything we needed to party to her house. My friend, Crystal made the yummy cake. I had fun making the tissue paper pom poms
that we hung over the food.
that we hung over the food.
Amy's roommates from her freshman year of college were there, as well as her future mother in-law, future sisters in-laws, her niece, Katie, and other friends of hers. Laura led the "What If" game. I hope the questions and answers in this game isn't making Amy nervous for her wedding day.
The gift opening got a little crazy when Amy's friend, Emily became a "tissue paper seamstress." Emily whipped up this one of a kind and very lovely gown in under 5 minutes. I was very interested in knowing how much Emily would sell the dress for. She estimated cost to be 3 dollars. Amy got her dress for free... lucky girl! Love the bow and corsage, Amy!
Work it, girl! Show off that bling ring... you earned it!
Amy... the ecstatic bride!
It was a fun bridal shower... definitely one I will always remember!

Bridal showers are always fun...I hope you embarrassed her a little or it wouldn't be a bridal party right. I'm excited to see you and Katie soon
You guys definitely look like sisters :)
It looks like you had a great bridal shower- doesn't Crystal make the BEST cakes?!?!?!

The pictures for the bridal shower were taken with my sister's point and shoot camera... not the best quality, oh well.
