Katie's room is all ready!
My awesome neighbor, Megan brought over the valence she made today.
The valence matches the rag quilt Megan made for my baby shower.
I painted this shelf that was left behind from the previous owners of our house. Sam and his dad hung the shelf a couple weeks ago. My friend, Charee made the hand stitched wall hanging. My Visiting Teaching partner and friend, Sarah, gave me the piggy bank, and the magnetic picture frame is something I made in Relief Society a few years ago.

Online I discovered some neat ways to display barette bows/flowers. The bows are so cute, why not proudly display them on the wall. I gathered supplies that I already had (scrapbook paper, ribbon, tape, two old picture frames that I painted white) and made these:
Well, I guess there's one more thing that I need to make the room absolutely complete... KATIE!!!

I LOVE IT!!!! I love the fabric you chose for the quilt and valence! And hola, what a sweet neighbor to make those for you! I want a neighbor like that! The kiwi paint is perfectly bright while also being soothing! The tissue paper poof ball thing-a-magig... are some of my favorites, i never thought of puting it in a bedroom... brilliant!
