1. Optometrists. My dad is an optometrist. He's my favorite one and I have a hard time having anyone but him take care of my eyes. Anyway, I'm still grateful that there are other decent optometrists out there. I'm glad that my optometrist here in town was willing to see me in his office on Labor Day. 2. Smith's Marketplace Pharmacy. This place was open on Labor Day. I would have been absolutely miserable if I didn't get my prescription eye drops that day.
3. Sam. We had a long weekend, which I know wasn't as fun as we'd planned. He was very patient with me. I've been complaining about alot of things lately, especially last week. My husband surprised me with 3 red roses and a Redbox movie on Friday night! He took Brian to to the Aquatic Center on Labor Day so that I could relax at home while Tyler napped. He took over alot of my responsibilities and now I owe him big time!
4. Apple Tree. We discovered that we have edible apples on our property! We have an apple tree along our driveway and the apples are a pretty good size. I don't think the apples are fully ripe, but that didn't stop Tyler from testing the first apple. He enjoyed it and didn't get sick from it. So, I'm assuming the apples are just fine to eat and now I won't have to buy apples at the store for awhile. What a nice discovery.

awesome! An apple tree! We found one here last year and it really was exciting.
I think one of the best things a husband can do is take the kids away sometimes. It's nice to have a breather at home to get something done or just to relax. I'm glad you have such a kind husband.
