My Date in NY with Sam

We decided to go to one of my favorite places, Taughannock Falls State Park in Trumansburg, NY. (Growing up, my family would hike up to the waterfall). Sam had never been there before, so I was excited to show him around. We enjoyed the beautiful drive out in the country. It was a good thing we had our GPS with us because when we were getting closer to the park, a road we were suppose to take was closed. Anyway, we hiked the 3/4 mile hike up to Taughannock Falls. The waterfall is taller than Niagra Falls! There were some small waterfalls at the beginning of the hike. After the hike, we walked across the street to enjoy one of the Finger Lakes, Cayuga Lake. Sam had fun showing me his skipping rock skills. We crossed the bridge over to a large green grassy area where we played some frisbee. Sam and I had a nice relaxing time. We had to get back home for lunch. Jenny, Seth, and Ben were flying back to Vegas later that day and they still volunteered to watch our boys. Thanks so much you guys!
