Hallstrom Family Reunion - Day 2

This was a pretty relaxed day. All 16 members of my family attended the Elmira Ward for church. The Elmira Ward is the ward I grew up in. It is always fun to go to church and see so many familiar faces. My dad taught a combined Priesthood and Relief Society lesson on employment. After church, we ate a huge ham dinner. Emily's friend, Tim came down from Ithaca for the afternoon.

After dinner, Dad showed some home movies of us growing up. Late evening, we held a testimony meeting. I was touched by the powerful spirit that was there. Sitting there on my parents' couch listening to the testimonies that were given, I realized more fully how awesome my family is. We don't get to gather together very often, yet we are still a close-knit family. I know that I will have my family forever and ever and that makes me extremely happy.
