18 Months Old

For your viewing pleasure, may I present, Tyler, my 18 month old:

Tyler is 18 months old today! Tyler is the most independent toddler I know. He sure likes doing everything by himself. And if I try to help Tyler when he doesn't want help, he'll throw a big fit (I'm talkin' banging his head, swirming to get out of my arms, scratching me, etc.) It drives me nuts! Plus, Tyler is a Momma's Boy, especially at church! Here are some of the things Tyler can do all by himself:
- run really fast
- blow kisses
- point and wave "bye-bye"
- push a chair around the kitchen and climb onto the chair to get what he wants
- empties out cupboards
- turn pages in a book
- some new words: "no," ball," "dog," "woof, woof" "moo," "uh, oh," "hi,"
- make a massive mess in less than 10 seconds

This boy sure can wear me out! But at the end of the day, (when Brian is in bed and Tyler is up for a little bit) Tyler is extra cute. It's my favorite time of day with him. He turns into a snuggler! Shocking, I know. I can't believe it myself, but I love it! Tyler's snuggles, together with the cute smirk he gives me, make taking care of him worth it! i LoVe YoU, TYLER!

It's amazing to me how fast the 18 months have gone. Wow! He sure is cute. Sounds like he and Jossy are a lot alike, they could've been best friends. :)

Tyler and Clara have a lot in common. What a sweet little guy! It goes by so fast!

Maybe our boys shouldn't meet each other. They sound so much alike, I'm afraid to find out what kind of messes and disasters they could cause together. Is it the younger brother syndrome? I really don't remember my older son being so independent.

It is scary how much a person that little can get into! I can't believe how fast that time has gone by! Are you planning on putting him in nursery? I tried last week (it was a big accomplishment for me and my germ phobia)
