1. Motherhood. I know I was venting about motherhood yesterday, but I really do enjoy being a mother. It is hands down my toughest job ever. Motherhood has tested my patience, my values, my health, etc. Motherhood has caused me to be more understanding of others and their situations. Motherhood is so rewarding and I wouldn't trade being a mother for anything. Every child deserves a mother who truly cares...to love them unconditionally, to teach them, to play with them, and to mold them into a responsible, self-sufficient individual.
2. Wind. I am fully aware that wind can be annoying. It messes up our hair, it can blow dirt into our eyes, and it can howl and keep us up at night. I am thankful for wind because on Monday night, the wind provided us the perfect opprotunity for a fun Family Home Evening activity. We drove up to the nearby college campus with the car windows opened all the way, the wind blowing in our faces. My three boys and I smiled and giggled as we sped up the hill to an open field. We took out a kick ball and Brian's Elmo kite. Talk about cheap entertainment. Just $2 for the ball and kite mixed with some gusty wind makes for a good time for our family of four.

I always like to read your posts. They are always so fun. Motherhood is GREAT! On the other hand I'm glad your thankful for the wind, I'm not. It can stay where it came from. Thanks again for the good reads!!
