Yesterday afternoon, Brian and I made treats for our Christmas goody plates. He really wanted to make pumpkin bread. We also made peanut butter cookies and peppermint fudge. The goody plates turned out good. After dinner, we delivered the plates to our nearby friends and neighbors.
Today, we took the boys to go see Santa Claus at the mall. There was a sign outside the mall's North Pole that said, "Santa is feeding his reindeer. He'll be back at 2 o'clock." Santa was about 10 minutes late for his visits with the kids.
When it was our turn, I knew my boys were no longer in the mood to see Santa.
Tyler was totally fine until I handed him to Santa. And as I expected, Tyler wanted nothing to do with this hairy old man. He cried and just wanted his mommy.
You'd think my kids would be more excited about the whole visiting Santa Claus thing. Maybe next year!

Awe...Santa. IT can be scary when you're a little kid.
i think children not liking santa must be some sort of rite of passage- or something. sydne didn't like him either.
How funny! Maybe next year will go a little better!
That's so funny he just wanted your cell phone. You'll have it easy this year! :)
Cute pictures of the boys!
I got lucky this year. No major breakdowns, but I have definitely had worse years!
Those pictures are CLASSIC...isn't that ust the way it always goes? Both are so NOT in the mood at a so pivotal and possible FUN, fun time?! How cute that Brian just asked for the cell...I love that last picture too...
There is something about that old man that gets kids screaming! You should look at the pictures of Taelee with Santa...pretty sad!
PS. I loved Brian's face in the elf dance!
