***Note to Self

After the Pumpkin Walk, I took my boys to run a few errands. While we were patiently waiting for my pictures to get developed, I decided to take the boys on a walk. I noticed a funky smell when I was getting Brian out of the car. And of course, when I lifted him out of his car seat, I found out what that smell was. Brian had an accident in his car seat! I had completely forgotten about him wearing underwear, so of course I had to change Brian's pants and underwear. I dug around in his backpack and of course I didn't have an extra pair of underwear and pants for Brian. I always carry extra stuff around for such accidents. But not that day. Of course, when I actually need these items, I don't have them. So, I had to resort to using wipes and a pull up diaper that I had in the car. What was I going to do about some pants for Brian?! Surely, I was not going to let my kid go around town without wearing pants! Me being the creative person that I am, made Brian wear his extra long sleeve shirt as pants! I put his legs through the arm holes (good thing he has skinny legs) and tucked the waist part of his shirt into his pull ups. Can you picture what I'm talking about...smart, huh?! Oh, and the best part is, on the back of Brian's "pants" it said: "I may not be perfect but I'm so close." Brian didn't seem to mind his interesting pair of "pants." I sure learned my lesson. ***Note to self: For the parent of a child who is potty training: Always carry a few extra pairs of pants and underwear with you!

Anyway, the middle picture in this collage is Brian wearing his "pants" and the rest of the photos are just some nice things that we saw on our walk.

VERY CUTE! I love that idea. No I have had the WT moments. Where I felt like I was the worst mother ever. I try to just leave clothes in the car. And then use them when needed. Even for my big boys extra clothes are always a must.

Oh, that's too bad. I have had my boys go poop in their pants and not had an extra pair of underwear. In those cases I just let them wear there pants without their underwear. I try to be prepared but my mind isn't as good at remembering as it use to be!

That is so funny Lisa. It always seems to happen that way huh. The shirt thing was a good idea though, I'll have to remember that for the future. Oh and the saying on the shirt totally cracks me up. Thats perfect! How was your Halloween? What did your boys dress up as?

Lisa, that made me laugh reading about Brian's accident. Very smart on using a shirt though. I too think that saying was perfect for the spot. That's hilarious!!!! You crack me up!!!

How creative! And hilarious!

I also seem to be out of whatever I need in the diaper bag. Or when I get home, I will find what I spent ten minutes looking for, buried in the very bottom of the bag, where I swear I looked at least five times.
