The Wheels on the Bus (Part Two)

Horray for another year of preschool! These pictures were taken on Brian's first day of preschool. That particular morning, Brian woke up and was so excited. He was so cute getting all ready for school. The hooded red vest/jacket is something he insisted on wearing. Brian invited me to eat a bowl of Kix cereal with him. He was all smiles and remembered the whole waiting for the bus thing. When he saw the bus, he started clapping. And he hopped right on that bus like a champ. This week was his first week. He is in the Tuesday and Thursday morning class. And like the last town that we lived in, the school bus picks him up, takes him to school (on the other side of town), and drops him off right outside my apartment. Talk about service. And best of all, the preschool doesn't cost us a cent! I'm so glad that Brian enjoys going to school. Brian isn't shy at all and just assumes that any little kid around his age is already his friend. His new teacher seems really great with kids and I just know that Brian is going to learn so much this year.
