A Hiking We Will Go

My second cousin, Angela and I have been wanting to hang out for awhile. One thing that we both like is hiking. Growing up, Angela would go on long hikes with her family. I got into hiking back in 2002 when I worked at a resort near the Grand Canyon. Anyway, two Fridays ago, Angela and I went on a short hike up in a nearby canyon. The hike began along the river. We crossed the river and continued to follow the river as we increased in elevation. I'm making it sound like we went on a big long strenuous hike, but it wasn't. We had fun just catching up and laughing all the way, despite all the misquito bites. And the catching up and laughing continued as we ate our ice cream at Cold Stone. Of course, I had to get some super chocolatey ice cream...Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ice cream mixed with Ghiridelli chocolate ice cream. Thanks for the fun Angela! Let's hang out again real soon!
